Purpose

Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) is a behavioral intervention designed to improve the relationships between parents and their children. The therapy involves coaching sessions where parents interact with their child in a playroom while a therapist observes from an observation room. Using a "bug-in-the-ear" device, the therapist provides real-time guidance to help parents develop effective strategies to manage their child's behavior and enhance their parenting skills. This-on approach fosters a supportive environment for both parents and children to thrive.
